Washington, D.C., March 18, 2015 – Twenty-five deserving students and five chaperones from Hurley, Missouri, visited Orlando, Florida, to participate in SeaWorld Orlando's three-day resident camp program. The students worked hand-in-hand with the park's animal caregivers and benefited from leadership training with Norm Hull through the SYTA Youth Foundation (SYF) Next Generation Program.

“I cannot express how thankful I am to have the opportunity to bring young men and women to SeaWorld in Orlando for three days of learning and fun. The students learned many aspects of the habitats of wildlife and how to care for and help protect them ("be a hero every day"). The learning experience we received will stay with us the rest of our lives. I want you to be aware of the impact you have made upon us. The staff of SYTA Youth Foundation and SeaWorld was tremendous. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience safe, fun, and a great learning opportunity. This trip was a life changing experience. Thank you.”

The SYF Next Generation Program provides underprivileged youth the ability to participate in interactive and innovative learning experiences outside their community.
